As many football fans across the country think back to the agony of narrowly missing out on European Cup glory, kind hearted members of Doncaster’s business community have proved once again that football is a game for all after breaking their fundraising goal of raising thousands of pounds to support local good causes in the borough, following the eagerly awaited return of the Doncaster Business Community Cup.
We’re proud to announce the launch our first charity fishing match which will take place on Saturday 21st August 2021. The event will take place at one of the UK’s premier commercial fisheries Maver Dynamite Hayfield Lakes.
The winner will be awarded the Doncaster Business for the Community Angling Cup together with a cash prize and Dynamite Baits prize. There will also be cash prizes for second and third place along with section prizes on the day.
The long-awaited return of this highly popular annual event will once again see The Business All Stars and The Commercial Legends competing for the trophy as DB4C also celebrates its fourth anniversary and in anticipation of an eventual return to normality, re-launches its sports themed fundraising events with participants drawn from businesses across Doncaster with the common goal of providing much needed support for local causes.

DB4C looking for the best company 5 a side team in Doncaster!
Business led charity Doncaster Business for the Community (DB4C), are delighted to announce this year’s inter-company 5-a-Side football tournament in association with Business Doncaster “The Doncaster Business Community Shield.”
The tournament will be held on the evening of the Friday 11th October at the Keepmoat Stadium
Local businesses are being encouraged to register early as the 16-team event is certain to sell out early with 5 teams already confirmed. And following on from last year’s event, there will be a 4 team women’s 5-a-Side tournament running alongside the men’s competition.
“After the success of our 11 a side ‘Play on the Pitch’ event and our T20 Cricket event this is our last sports event of the year and we are looking for both men’s and women’s teams who not only want to claim the bragging rights for this year’s trophies but also want to help raise vital funds to support local causes”.

In the closest Business Community Cup game yet, the Business Allstars ran out victors thanks to 2 penalty saves from veteran keeper Steve Teasdale. The match winning save, clawing the ball past the post from distraught Ryan Ambler.
The 2019 DB4C Business Community Cup will take place on Friday 31st May at The Keepmoat Stadium and will once again be played under floodlights with an early evening kick-off of 6.45pm
